I recent had to do a foreclosure (strategic) as my condo wasnt worth a short sale at all… Per the info I can find, the auction was on 3/21/14. My credit union shows a zero balance now on the mortgage after receiving a final payment, however I have yet to hear from anyone including the credit union about it
I checked my credit report today, the foreclosure was reported exactly 2 months ago, just 2 weeks after the auction. But yet oddly enough, my credit score hasnt gone done at all and is actually a little better that its been over the last six months
Is this normal? I would've expected to take a nose dive soon after a foreclosure was reported to the major agencies
