Hi
I have split from my wife and have found a place to rent. I am being bought out and will be off the mortgage in one month. Unfortunately the credit checkers for the rental are factoring in my mortgage repayments with my rent and saying I can't afford to rent the property!
Is there any way of getting around this? I am sure I am not the first person to split from their wife and need to rent whilst still on the mortgage?
I will be off the mortgage in a month anyhow.

Added (1). Hi, thanks for the answer. I intend to move into the property I have found, so I cannot stay in a hotel as the property will be let to someone else.
Added (2). Thanks for the answer. I don't have the additional cash for two/months rent in advance. Is there any way of getting the credit checkers to factor in the fact I will be off the mortgage as it is not really relevant to the application as I will be off the mortgage anyway?
