I watched that Country concert thing they had on TV last night, just because nothing else was on and almost every single song talked about alcohol and if the center of the song wasn't about alcohol the lyrics still talked about drinking. Is that really what people want to listen to?
Added (1). No, not all music does that… I listen to mostly Pop and Rock, and while there are songs about it, it's not the center theme of their music. I'm talking 3/4 of the songs sung on that show last night were alcohol themed.
Added (2). I also wanted to add I am not one that hates any kind of music, I was just very disappointed that there was a perfectly good concert on and they chose to glorify drinking so much.
