How to prove gift money for an fha loan?

I'm in the process of getting an fha loan. Thr only problem I have is that I have cash deposits into my account. The deposits are from my boyfriend who does not have a bank account. He cashes his work checks and gives me money. Will copies of his check stubs be enough to prove that he gave me the money?
