Is my plan to move to LA alone logical?

I hate new jersey with a burning passion. I'm miserable here. Nj folk are jerks and I have only 2 friends here. My uncles and parents have been here for years but I'll be the first to move out. I am 20 and live with parents. I have a credit score of 680 going up. I attend electrical at Lincoln Technical and. October this year i graduate.
I wanna get a mortgage that I can start paying while still living with parents. Once I secure a job in the new location I'll move out.
