determine if the following arguments are valid or invalid. State a rule that is violated.

1. It must have rained lately because the streets are wet, and the streets are always wet after it rains

2. Only experienced mountain climbers are allowed to go on this hike. Since barbara harris is not allowed to go, she must be an inexperienced mountain climber

3. There is no acid in this soil in my garden because flowers grow there and flowers won't grow where the soil is acid

4. Whenever i have more than one drink in an hour i get a headache and i have had three drinks during the past hour

5. All cats except Manx cats have long tails. Our cat, Iris, is not a Manx cat. Iris has a long tail

6. Some starvation diets are effective ways to lose weight. However, starving yourself is bad for your heart. Thus, some effective ways to lose weight are bad for your heart

7. Not all interest expenses are tax deductible. Home mortgage payment are interest expenses. Thus, they are not tax deductible
