Hi Internet,
so me and my boyfriend are attempting to get a mortgage we are all sorted saved etc the problem is if you don't have a passport or driving licence they don't believe you exist, ergo no mortgage.
Now we have have waited for his passport for 8 weeks… And they as of a few days ago sent us a letter… Saying we needed to send them his mums birth certificate.
After receiving this, attempting to pull out all my hair with frustration and weeping slightly we sent it off recorded next day delivery.
What I would like to know is if any body else had any experience with sending extra things off and time scales on when they received their passport its his first one and as far as i am aware this should all be done and dusted now.
