Domestic violence and homeownership in Texas?

After 6 years together, I purchased a home with my boyfriend. About 6 months ago he came back from a job just… Different… Not the man I knew: angry, cold, vicious… Now recently he has be become physically violent. Choking me, biting my face. Recently he pinned me down by my throat and twisted my nipples to punish me. Even more recently he grabbed me by my hair and bashed my face into the tile walkway, leaving a 2 inch bruise across my forehead. We are locked into a 30 year mortgage, and my home is incredibly important to me. Is there any way to get safe yet keep my house? I have a 7 year old daughter, and to own a home has been our dream. Thanks to changing loan laws, I will not likely be able to buy another. If anyone is familiar with property and domestic violence laws please help!
