My wife and I are having our first child (planned) this year and after taking a long look at our expenses, it's going to be difficult to stay above water with childcare expenses.
We've cancelled all of the unnecessary joys (cable, cell phone etc) and have paid off all of our debt (minus a car payment, mortgage and student loans).
Unfortunately, our student loans are more than our mortgage so it's really putting us in a huge hole.
After all is said and done on a monthly basis, we are left with about $200/month income with the least expensive childcare. This is prior to calculating diapers and baby food in the budget so you can see we're sinking fast.
Is there anything we can do to loosen the strangle hold? All ideas are appreciated
