My guy, who tells people I'm his "wife", is still married to his ex of 13 years. He says he doesnt want to leave her without insurance yet he pays her $800/mth for his soon-to-be 18 yr old son and she makes approx. $4500/mth with no mortgage bc he paid the house off in 2006. Im a "single mom" working as a server in a restaurant as I finish my Masters degree and I have zero benefits and get zero child support (ex husband of 12 yrs bailed). He said a year ago, that he wanted to get married, yet when i mention it now, he goes back to wanting to keep her on the insurance just in case anything was to happen to the mother of his child. Not sure how to feel about this. Any advice would be great.
