I am selling my house. The closing date is less than 2 weeks away. My lawyer sent me an email with the results of a judgement search he ran on me… It returned 2 things and he is asking me if the items listed are, in fact, mine.
I'm really nervous now because I don't know what this search is telling me… And his office is closed for the day!
The search return a bankruptcy that was discharged in 1996 and the other record is my current mortgage… Now, is that normal or is there something I'm missing?
Added (1). to be clear… The bankruptcy WAS mine and was discharged in 1996… That is not a problem, right?
