Why do people think just because someone is a high earner means they have no expenses? My parents bring in nearly 200 thousand a year between them and they have to pay for 3 of us to go to university, run 3 cars, keep all of us on the car insurance, run a house, mortgage, multiple properties, holidays etc. They earn this money from very hard work and a lot of practical work and study, yet they get taxed nearly 50% on the money they earn, how is this fair? They worked hard to get them incomes only to be severely punished by tax.
