I am buying a house, and the bank believes I own a house already. The problem is that I can not look at my credit, as they want to use that mortgage to verify my Identity. The bank said that I should contact that financial institution and use any equity as a down payment. How do I find out what financial institution holds the loan?
Secondly, I would like to move into a house A.S.A.P. Anyways. Is it possible I could just evict the person living there and move in? Or Move in without formally evicting the person?
I live in Michigan, I'm not certain, but I believe the house is in Iowa.
