Okay before you judge hear me out. My mom is going back on disability; she tried working for quite a while but she can't handle anymore. She was hurt a few years back at work and has gone through neck surgery and what not because of it.
She currently lives with her bf and she pays for the house we initially moved into before she met him. I'm currently dealing with anxiety/panic attacks along with vertigo. I have tried getting medical assistance but my state did not renew their medicade program and I do no quailfy ; unless I were to be pregnant, under 21, over 59 etc. (I don't plan on getting pregnant any time soon; I have quite a few years til that). And federally I can't get help to pay for healthcare because I don't make 11k a year. I currently cant work because of said mentioned above. Therefore I can't get to see a doctor to even perhaps try for disability? I do know is a plan coming to PA that I could qualify for but that wont be til December; this would be for medical assistance.
My mom cannot afford any more months of me being here and needs to sell the house. I would love to rent it from her but obviously I don't have the money. Are there any programs out there that could help me. I have already inquired about HUD Section 8 and in my county it is already closed waitlist. I hate how all these other people can scam the system and get help but here I am trying to get help just for a few months til I'm on my feet. Moving in with my mom and her bf is not an option.
