Our private mortgage company has gone bankrupt and can not be contacted?
Added (1). We took out a mortgage loan from a private mortgage company. The lender is an individual, not a bank, but we never were given their name. The mortgage company has gone bankrupt and can not be contacted. How do we deal with the mortgage? We have not received any info regarding future payments. Can the individual lender foreclose on us? All of the paperwork is written with the Mortgage company's name, not the lenders. Any information would be helpful.
