Hi i'm Justin and I love to play Monopoly with my sister, Brooke. She is paranoid about trading and constantly denies trades totally in her favor. She landed on Park Place, already owning Boardwalk VERY early in the game (First 10 Rolls) but she didn't have enough to but it. She only had $170 and didn't want to mortgage her properties. I offered her $506 for two railroads (I didn't own any). This would be enough for her to buy Park Place AND have an extra $200+. She accidentally mortgaged and then unmortgaged a property, losing $7. Because my original offer was $500, she demanded $507 and I offered $506 because I had $906 and the extra dollar would hurt any purchases late in the game. She thought I was ripping her off and being difficult over the dollar (which I NEEDED, she doesn't get how $1 makes a difference and will force me to mortgage later) so she quit playing… Who's getting the larger end of the stick?
