I had a feeling that my partner was lying to me about buying drugs so I went snooping through his Facebook and his phone and found messages which proved that he was buying weed. He kept telling me that he wasn't buying it.
We have only known each other for 3 months and I got pregnant with his child pretty much the week that we hooked up.
He talked about wanting to give up smoking weed and cigarettes when we first met. Because we have a baby on the way and the fact that he has a lot of outstanding bills and I pay for most stuff I suggested that he couldn't afford to do both and that he should cut down to smoking weed in the weekends only. I pay the mortgage, rates, power, sky, phone/internet, food and he pays me $400 a fortnight. But if we have a date night or go away then I have to pay for that. If I didn't pay for it then we wouldn't be able to afford to do anything.
So he agreed or so I thought but now he's chucking it back in my face saying that I'm making him give up everything. He's also given up smoking this week cos he's run out of money completely and can't afford to buy any.
The thing that gets me is that he lied to me about buying weed. He told me he gets it for nothing or for swaps and I knew that wasn't right so I snooped, i know I shouldn't have. He then tried to make me feel bad for calling him a liar… Until I got proof and caught him out. The fact that he can lie to me to my face like that scares me. How can I ever trust that he's telling me the truth now?
