We lived in an apartment last year and ended up owing $800 for replacement of carpet and blinds. After moving out, we went into the process of buying the house. Our apartment contacted our mortgage company and told them we owed money (even though we have a payment plan set up) and told them of the condition of our apartment and even called us filthy (we had a puppy and he destroyed the carpet) even though they were not asked to. IS THERE'S ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO GET THEM IN TROUBLE FOR THIS? They've caused us a lot of problems.
