I work at a mortgage company doing data entry and I am a full time student majoring in computer networking and IT.
I don t have any real hands-on experience besides repairing and troubleshooting my own home network. In college, so far I ve only learned basic PC hardware/software and basic network fundamentals. I m currently working towards my A+ certification, and then my Net+.
I want to see if I can transfer to my company s IT department. How would I go about this? Would it be okay to email the IT department manager directly?
