Is renting an apartment looked down upon? - 1
Added (1). My daughter and I have been living in an apartment for over 10 years. We enjoy it for the most part. The conditions are decent. The building was built in the 70s, so it's pretty sturdy. It could use some upgrades, but it's fine. Anyway, a lot of my daughter's friends live in modern houses. Would this be looked down upon for us? Just wondering.
Added (2). We live in an middle to upper class neighbourhood, but it's still an apartment. Just wondering.
Added (3). I could afford a mortgage and the expenses of owning a home, but I don't want to have all the maintenance, yard work, etc. Attached to it.
