On state pention husband and wife can we claim any benifits to help?

husbands with all-over arthritis bad knee bad foot walks with limp open heart surgery 2013 still valve leaking, I have hiatus hernia and barrettes am 65+ husband 69+ Only have state pensions and small private pention. Have to pay out for mortgage and full council tax can we get help?
