The divorce process in Italy?

Divorce in Italy?
I am married to an Italian. We got married in Pakistan. Then our marriage was registered in Comune, of Como, Italy. I stayed there for 9 months. Then his mother threw me out(dominating woman), and he let me go(obedient son). I am back to Pakistan. I missed the date when my Permesso di Soggiorno was due.

He doesn't want to stay with me. He doesn't want to divorce me either.

1.Divorce in Italy costs too much? What's the process? How much will he cost him. He is almost jobless. His mother is a fortune teller, and it's enough to pay the mortgage.

2. Can he divorce me without my consent? I don't want divorce. I won't sign it. My sign matters?

3. Although on many occasions after coming to Pakistan, I have asked him to divorce me, outrageously. Alright, because the humiliation was beyond limits, and he was mistaking my love with his superiority. He abused me too.

4. He has my messages, where I mentioned divorce, but is it enough for him to claim my consent in my absence? I don't want divorce.

5. We are not legally separated.
