Does anybody else feel this way about Comcast (Xfinity)?

I can't get my local cable and internet company because I live a little too far out of town. I wanted to get Dish Network but because of my credit I would have to pay for installation, all my equipment and another $99 fee for a total of over $600. Obviously I am not doing that. I would assume Directv would be the same way. The only other choice where I am is Comcast. I'd rather go without cable than go with Comcast. Does anybody else hate Comcast? I don't have very good credit because I have my mortgage through a private lender and I don't have any credit cards. Comcast's prices are absolutely ridiculous and they won't even tell you what you will be paying after the first year. That sounds criminal to me. What do you think? Would anybody else rather be without cable than go with Comcast?
