Refinancing my house… My name alone is on the deed. House was quick clamed over to me in my divorce?

The Mortgage is in both of our names still. I want to refinance or sell. He said he was told not to take his name off of the mortgage. Where do I stand?
Added (1). I believe his credit is not that good.
