Will my mortgage processing go ok?

My husband and are closing on our house 9/18. Is crucial we get this house because my son is registered for school. We won't have our complete down payment in our account until a week before closing. Currently are mortgage is in underwriting. Will it not go through if the funds are there yet? What other issues should I be concerned about. I feel like something will go wrong.
