Did someone steal my identity?

I did two credit checks and apparently I have bought a new car and took out a reverse mortgage. >.> What do i do about this? I can't afford a lawyer. Can I take it to court somehow and get something done with a court appointed lawyer? Go to the credit union? Both? I'm so scared about it ha. I don't know what to do. Thank you.
