Added (1). A prostitute is not selling "herself", she's selling services. A customer obtains no property right in the prostitute as a result of the agreement. He can't sell, lease, mortgage, pledge, or license her, or in any way deal with her other than with her consent.

Yes, a prostitute uses her body to provide the service, but so does a waitress, dentist or parliamentarian, and no-one ever says they are "selling themselves" and it should be criminalised as "slavery".

It's absurd hyberbole.
