Do Clydesdale ever allow extensions on consent to let mortgages?

I have consent to let which was for 2 years whilst I was away on an international assignment with my employers. My employer has told me I need to stay another 6 months. I need to give my current tenants some notice 2 months. So the way it is working they will be beyond my consent to let date, o you think either Clydesdale could approve a 6 month extension or at least 2 months to help me cover the tenancy, unfortunately we had a gap in 2 tenancies so it s thrown the dates out a bit as both were 12 month leases
