I applied/got approved for a new charge card a week before I close on my new home (stupid, I forgot), am I in trouble?

its the Amex platinum, and in the past month ive actually paid down roughly 3k of debt, haven't even received the card and definitely wont use it yet. How will this affect my mortgage… Its a VA loan
