What happens if i leave canada (for 7-8 years)without selling away my property?

As I owe too much for many credit cards and now i'm un employed too, I cant afford paying my mortgage anymore. So I've decided to leave Canada may be permanently or a tleast for few years (7-8 years). What will happen in such situation?
