I always thought that the average Aussie cared for his mates, his country & fellow human beings but it seems as a nation we want the best of everything & are quite prepared to mortgage our kids futures in order to get it & that saddens me both as a citizen & as a human being.
This latest budget should have been seen as a wake up call that we can't keep living the way we do, both as individuals & as a nation yet if the polls are to be believed a majority of Aussies believe the government's warnings are too much at best or a lie.
