I bought a house in 2011 on land contract for $45,000. I still owe around $33,000 but want to sell it or get rid if it now. Is it possible to sell and pay off what I owe and maybe walk away with a little extra cash? Or does that only work with an actual mortgage through a bank or lender? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
