My Husband and I are visiting the mortgage broker tonight to arrange everything.
He has been looking for a new job and today he received word of an interview on the 30th of July.
We know it will take some time for the mortgage offer to come through then for it to be finalized. It is a private sale within they family, which I'm hopeful will speed up parts of the process, although I am realistic about the timescale! We are first time buyers.
Would it be ok for him to go to the interview at least and take it form there? This new job will pay quite a bit more than his current job.
What happens if he is offered the job? Is it advisable to wait and refuse it? (which i really don't want!) with notice periods etc. It will be mid September before he is in his new position.
