Mortgage confirmed but I have to declare my partner?

Mortgage confirmed but I have to declare my partner?
Added (1). Hi, I have recently had my mortgage offer confirmed, and an offer on a house accepted. The mortgage is only in my name and the solicitor was about to ask me in to sign contracts but asked if anyone else over the age of 18 would be living there. I told him my partner would be living there. He then said he would have to inform the mortgage lender, this is not something I had hidden from the lender, just something that hasn't even been asked up to this point.
Added (2). The solicitor has now said the lender 'will probably' just ask my partner to sign a form to say that she is not entitled to a financial stake in the house, which is fine with us. But my concern is that the lender may not be happy with this arrangement. What's the likely hood that they will just send this form out? Or could they withdraw the mortgage or make amendments to it, I.e price/terms etc. The lender is the Halifax, it is a help to buy mortgage with 5% deposit and I am 30 years old.
