I was wondering could you help me with some advice. You have a criminal record dating to April 2010, I have a conviction for abh (actual bodily harm) for which i received 5 months suspended sentence for 2 years, will this affect my ability to get a mortgage. I do realise it is not ideal but I have a good steady job as does my wife and we have a significant lump sum would i still be able to get a mortgage?
