My husband and I have separated after 15yrs of marriage. We had no children. We are lucky enough not to have any credit card or loans outstanding. We also have no HP agreements (other than usual household bills which has always come out of his wage). We have always lived in rented accommodation with the local authority so we have no mortgage either. He has moved in with his parents until he
can find his own rented accommodation (private). I have applied for Job Seekers Allowance because my husband was the only one working, so basically, I now have no money coming in at all. I am waiting for an interview but would like to know if he will be expected to contribute at all.
