Is it better to buy a house or start a business first?

I am 24 with a decent job and would like to buy a house or start a business in a year or so. My current job I make 85K and would still work there if i decided to start a business. In a year I will have about 30K in savings for a down payment. I currently pay $1250 for rent and plan to stay in the area for awhile. I do not have any entrepreneurship experience but I have a partner who does. Obviously I will need a mortgage or a loan to finance the business my question is which to do first buy a home or start a business.
