Getting mortgage in Florida during divorce?

Divorce has taken much longer then expected and I will be buying a house about 1 month prior to my divorce. The mortgage lender said this is ok but my wife will need to just sign a document. What document will she need to sign? Will she need to be there at the mortgage signing?
