Received a CP2000 from IRS and don t know which forms I need for my particular situation?

I have my my house up for rent and am using a "middle man" company to handle all the issues with the renters. So, the renters pay the company and the company then sends me the monthly rent. I use that money to then pay the mortgage (many times I end up paying extra out of pocket to cover the monthly payment because the rent is less).

The IRS is saying I received Rent income from this company (which I did) but everything I received went straight to the mortgage payment and I never saw any of it for personal use.

Do I still have to pay what they are asking me to (over 4,000 dollars) because I didn t initially claim it or can I be excused from this with certain forms? Please advise.
