Added (1). I am getting a divorce and don't want the house, but my name is on the mortgage. We got married and have only been married for 8 months. It just turned out to be something bad. He has 3 kids and I am perfectly fine with them staying here and me finding another place. I bought the house about 5 months before we got married. How would that work with him keeping the house and me getting my name off the mortgage? Thanks!
