Will I be less employable if I get a degree from open university?
I'd love to go to university for the social life and the experience that comes with it but it seems like that's for people that focus on now rather than the future. I'd be about 21 if I went so I'd be 25 when I leave.
I want to get a mortgage on a small 1 or 2 bedroom house so I can jump on the house ladder and begin actually owning a large asset for security. These days they say to start your credit score at 18 and save for the future etc and I want to do this because it seems like too many people aren't taking life serious enough or understand the importance of starting early to be safe when older.
If I go to open university and get a job will I be as respected in an interview? I want to do International Business and Economics.
I really do hope so because when I see grand designs on TV they all get an amazing house by selling an average house so the thought of beginning life at 25 sounds like starting a bit late for savings and what not
Thanks:)
