So my husband has been offered a transfer position at a large corporation from North America to Ireland. Reason being that their expanding the Irish branch and need workers who already know the ropes.
( this isn't the type of job you can be trained on in two weeks. It takes several degrees and years of on site know how.)
On paper the offer seems very nice, however I have a big housing concern. Will we be able to get a mortgage? We are in our 30s have kids and already own a home. I'm receptive to this new adventure but not if it equals apartment living. For me owning a home equals being settled. I have looked in the area and there are lots of homes we could afforded.
Has anyone been in a similar situation?
