I lived in a house with my mother in law and husband, she named half the deed to myself and husband. Approximately 10 years later her daughters transferred the deed into their names. Ive lived in this house for 25 + years. They live in a different state with their own homes. Currently I have half share they each have a quarter.
Note: They have not paid the taxes, bills, or mortgage here in 25 years. My husband satisfied the 1st mortgage, the second satisfaction of mortgage is under my name. They have not spent any money on repairs, property tax etc. I have.
Recently they called asking to be bought out of their share unfortunately in this neighborhood there is a boom and I cant afford to buy them out forcing me to sell. They sent an appraiser to the house, and have been receiving offers. I also found out my home was listed for 3 days and then removed. I am wondering what rights I have here.
