My company went down hill and I have been unemployed since end of March2014 and have finally had to resort to applying for unemployment. I am actively searching for work but I need gas money, food etc.
I rent in a single room behind my parents house and I told Social service that I am renting and paying "X" amount of money and then they sent me a paper to verify the rent amount… How can I do that? If I dont keep record of it, neither do my parents, they just take the cash and deposit it into their Acct to help pay the mortgage.
So does paying rent like that count?
can I claim rent pay if it isnt a "regular" apartment complex?
