Me an my wife recently got married. Now we're discussing the financial situation in our house. I make 3 times as much as she does therefore I pay the mortgage, car note, truck note, lights & cable. Then i also have my own personal bills; child support, credit card, cell phone, and day care. She pays gas and water bill in house plus her own personal bills. I came up with the idea that we don't need a joint account to pay bills because there already assigned but let's do a joint savings account. Each month we contribute a certain amount to the joint savings account( my contribution gone be more) and anything you have left over is yours to do whatever. She wants access to my account that I'm putting my extra money in and I said no. I don't need anybody policing me an my extra money. I'M I WRONG.
