When will the UK drinking age be lowered to 16?

When Labor wins the election they will lower the voting age to 16, making 16-year olds LEGALLY ADULTS!

This will give them the right to fight in wars, open a mortgage, marry without parental consent, model for X-rated material and serve on a jury, surely Labor will also lower the drinking age to 16?
