Hw does insurance work through a mortgage comp?

If your house is insured through your mortgage company and it burns down, how does the insurance work? Do you get to keep the land and rebuild on it?

Added (2). Qur insurance company droped us and greentree got insurance we didnt sign any policy so i don't know what we have
