The best/cheapest option to buy a home?
I have looked at buying a mobile home(some decent ones only cost 5000) and moving it(the average cost of moving a single wide was at 8000 according to one site i read) onto land.
I thought about raw land but that seems extremely expensive. Around me there are usually a few property up for sale for under 10,000 although the houses are usually bad so i would try to tear it down and pull on a mobile.
I have also looked at Amish cabins, but i think by the time i got pluming installed it would be more expensive than just moving a mobile home.
Another thing i have looked at is tiny houses. The biggest problem with that is I plan on having kids one day, and also my boyfriend is a big man, he wouldn't exactly fit.
I don't have the money right now, my credit is eat up by hospital bills that have been sent to collections so I am not getting a loan any time soon. But when I start up school over the coarse of two years between me and my boyfriend we might get about 10,000 dollars.
So if we could use that to get a head start in life it would be great. I also thought about a real nice RV (unlike the falling apart junkers dad bought lol) I think if nothing else we will go with the rv.
We thought about and apartment, and he is willing to live in one but he has a pit bull. I have a small dog. My dog would be accepted and his wouldn't. Although his dog is a pain in the *** and hates my dog I don't think its fair to move somewhere he can't have his dog.
Added (1). Just one of my hospital bills is 40,000 dollars. So i don't plan on paying it off I plan on it dropping off after seven years.
