Inheritance during a marriage in new jersey?
Added (1). my wife and 2 children live in my mothers home that she wants to put the deed in my name. We have lived in the home for 10yrs. The home is big enough with separate living quarters. I have paid a mortgage on the home that is in my name and co signed by my mother. I have all separate accounts to pay on the mortgage. If she puts the deed of the home solely in my name and i get a divorce, how does NJ law see the home. Just being cautious and looking out for the financial stability of all of us.
