My name not at the home title?

My husband is a homeowner he owed the house with a friend’s and his wife after been 4 year married he didn't add my name on the house, he said no because we will buy a new house and leave that for investment and to add my name will cost a lot of money, the asked if i add my name to the title only not the mortgage will not effect if we by other house will not show

He did refinance and refuses to add my name to the title.
Bees, I don’t know what to do â€Â" I know nothing about home buying and all the documents that come with it.
I have excellent credit
I also have watched him really drag his feet when it came to combining bank accounts â€Â" he still hasn’t closed his account or contacted HR to begin sending his checks to the new account. I’m not a ******, and he’s usually not a guy who needs nagging, but I feel like that’s the only way he will continue with the bank account and home title.

My question is
- If i add my name home title only will effect if i buy a new house?
- If my name not at the title and my husband passed away, that will happen since he have partner?
- If my name not at the title and my husband passed away, that will happen since he have partner? And I own another house?
